Dixon Hughes Goodman (DHG), a U.S. top 20 professional services firm, has announced that Wesley McLeod, a Partner in DHG’s Insurance practice, has been appointed as the first chairperson of the IASA Diversity and Inclusion Committee. The newly formed committee’s mission is to foster an inclusive culture and encourage diversity in the insurance industry.

“I am honored to serve as the Chair of the IASA Diversity and Inclusion Committee. I have been in the insurance industry for more than 15 years and recognize there is always an opportunity to continue to improve ourselves and more broadly, open opportunities for future leaders. With the fellow members of the IASA committee, I hope to continue to foster an inclusive culture in the industry and encourage people from all backgrounds to succeed in their careers,” noted Wesley.

Wesley has extensive experience leading insurance engagements, including SEC-compliant annual financial statement audits and quarterly reviews, and financial statement audits of various property and casualty, life, title and captive insurers. As an advisor, Wesley has assisted clients, including Fortune 500 companies, with internal controls design and implementation, mergers and acquisition, financial planning and analysis, researching complex accounting issues and framing accounting policies.
